The King Charles III Coast Path is a rough assemblage of actual paths, roads beside the beach, shingle expanses with no obvious routes, and sometimes wave bashed slumping cliffs. It is not really a ‘path’ in most people’s estimations. It’s a bodge. It’s emblematic of so many projects the country tries but half-arses. It doesn’t detract from the fact that the coast is still stunningly beautiful, even the concrete bits.

This print is on A3, coated, 300gsm paper. The image is the same size as the original painting.
