My first seascape in stippled ink, quite a challenge.

Here I depicted a split-second of gentle waves washing against the rocks on Coumeenoole (Com Dhíneol) Beach in County Kerry, Ireland. The patterns in the foam of the waves were what interested me in this instance but as I began the work it became fascinating to look at the tonal values between the dark wet rocks, their shadows, and the water as it sloshed over shallows or deeper areas being shadowed by the foam itself.
