Glowing out of the late winter hedgerow the lichens and berries seem to absorb and recycle the low light that fall upon them. The jelly ear mushrooms look enticing and ethereal. Flooding in the fields and woodlands made the rest of this walk a meandering mess but spotting this tiny scene brought relief to my mind.
